Greg was raised in Eastern Kentucky, after serving four years in the Air Force he graduated from Central Bible College (now Evangel University) with a degree in Bible/Pastoral Ministries. He struggled early with finding his own voice in speaking. He found encouragement while taking a graduate level course on Expository Preaching with the late Dr. Warren Wiersbe. This course helped him in preparing sermons, preaching, and discovering his own voice. This triggered a growth mindset that governs his life and continues to inspire him to pass on what he learned.
